Apollo Tyres has become Team India’s new lead sponsor in a landmark deal worth ₹579 crore. Apollo Tyres replaced Dream11 as the jersey sponsor in September 2025 under a deal lasting until March 2028. The sponsorship deal spans two and a half years, until March 2028, and covers jerseys for both the men’s and women’s national cricket teams across all formats. Apollo Tyres will pay around ₹4.5 crore per match, surpassing the previous sponsor Dream11’s ₹4 crore per match. This deal marks Apollo Tyres’ first-ever foray into Indian cricket, highlighting the increasing commercial value and global appeal of Indian cricket.

Dream11 suffered huge loss

The deal was announced after the government banned real-money gaming apps, causing Dream11 to leave

Dream11 was the official lead sponsor and jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team from July 2023 until early 2025 with a deal worth around Rs 358 crore (US$44 million approx.). However, Dream11 withdrew from the sponsorship after the Indian government passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, banning real-money gaming platforms like Dream11.
